Chris Brown And Drake Sued for $16M For Brawl
The drama continues in the Drake and Chris Brown saga, as the two are being sued for $16 million for damages during their brawl at W.i.P. nightclub.
While the beef between the two has died down after Chris Brown launched a diss-track and Drake chose to not respond with one of his own, Chris Brown and Drake’s beef is back in the headlines as the two are being sued for $16 million for the brawl that took place between them and their entourages.
The New York Post reports that Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., has filed a lawsuit for the violent bottle-throwing brawl that ensued between the two artists’ entourages at the club. From the lawsuit, it alleges that Drake and Chris Brown “”shared a grudge against [each] other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman,” which incited their groups to “”fight violently with each other” after encountering each other in the club.”
Continuing, the lawsuit reads “”each arrived with his own small army of bodyguards [and] ‘security’ personnel…consisting of at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat.” The suit alleges that the artists ordered their “posses” to attack each other, “their two posses had at each other, throwing highball glasses laden with alcohol, shattering the handles of bottles of spirits to use as makeshift knives, and even throwing full bottles at each other.”
This is not the first lawsuit from the incident, as NBA player Tony Parker sued for eye-damage sustained while present during the brawl, and a few female club goers have filed suits for physical harm as well.
