Rihanna finally ends her court battle with a British clothing store. A court has proven that the store sold T-shirts bearing Rihanna’s image, the store sold the shirts as though they were Rihanna’s brand. A while back, the Umbrella singer issued a writ against bosses of the Topshop chain demanding they stop selling a line of items featuring a photograph of her which was taken without her permission.
Today, London’s High Court ruled in Rihanna’s favor, stating that although there are no U.K. laws exist to protect the reproduction of a star’s image, in this case Topshop bosses had ‘passed off’ the garments as Rihanna T-shirts. Congrats Bad Girl Riri!!
